The Trans-Era Calendar (TEC) is a out-of-universe time-keeping system zeroed at the creation of the Moon and extending endlessly forward. The TEC numbering system is based on the standard Etherian year, with 1 TEC taking place exactly 1 Etherian year after the creation of the Moon.
